This layout is using The One Module Approach (TOMA) as defined in the Model Railroad Hobbyist magazine. The initial module was the experimental module used to determine techniques, processes and products suitable for future modules. The focus is on getting trains to run in conjunction with IoT software development, consequently scenery and buildings won’t be accomplished as defined in TOMA. The five modules planned can be seen in the diagram below. The track plan is being developed in XTrkCad. The track plan is available in the GitHub repository.
