Using terminal strips of 4,6,8, and 12 connectors 5 and 12 volt power is made available to accessories, such as the RFID Readers and the Quad Turnout Controllers. Additionally tracks are connected via the terminal strips to DCC or variable DC power. For the first three modules the picture below shows the control center with DCC power (Digitrax DCS50) for distribution to the tracks. By design only one track is available with a DC variable power supply or with a programmer (Digitrax PR3) or DCC.
The DC power supply is housed in the upper panel, with the following circuit.
Rather than having multiple smaller power supplies I’m usnig a 15v DC 400w power supply as seen in the following circuit.
